My client, a research and data services company are currently on the market for a Web developer / programmer to join their busy team.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of Software development and product delivery experience, ideally using Linux / Lamp based environments.

Candidates MUST have a very good understanding of Web technologies and application programming as well as an ability to derive simplicity from complex sets of data.

Excellent PHP programming skills is ESSENTIAL

Strong MySQL knowledge and experience is also a MUST

XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, J2EE and DHTML skills and experience would be a distinct advantage

Candidates must be innovative, flexible and self-directed; they should be passionate about what they do and should show a strong ability to share, discuss and brainstorm ideas.

A graduate degree in Computer Science, related fields or equivalent is ESSENTIAL
