What's the preferred python/pgsql module?
Pgdb? pypgsql? psyco?

optomeb, psyco is a Just In Time compiler for Python, nothing to do with SQL :-)

Hm. Is 1 vs 2 related to the python DB api version implemented?

optomeb, no, psycopg2 has better compatibility with pgsql, but isn't itself fully compatible with psycopg1. they'll both coexist if you install them both
Far as i know, they both do dbapi 2

If you're using zope you need psycopg1, otherwise psycopg2 will probably work fine
