Job details: Company is looking for experienced technologists to become members of its North America development team based in White Plains, NY. Responsibilities include analysis of business requirements and specifications, coding, testing, debugging, and writing documentation for various agile development projects.Requirements: § Must have complete SDLC exposure and experience managing several large-scale projects from inception to completion § 7+ years Java/J2EE experience - Experience dealing with high traffic web-sites a must… Exposure to working on real-time communication/collaboration tools a plus. § 5+ years experience working with Sybase/SQL or comparable RDBMS with skills to create and maintain stored procedures, manage database objects and perform data optimization tasks as necessary. Experience in handling large data volumes is essential.§ 2+ years Swing… experience with Java Web Start or managing rollout of a desktop application to a large audience a plus § 2+ years experience working with JMS§ 5+ years of experience working with UNIX.§ Experience with C, C++, or .NET a plus§ Proficient with Object Oriented Analysis and Design§ Strong team player with ability to play lead role on a variety of projects using diverse technologies.§ Excellent communicator.Additional Useful Skills/Characteristics§ Financial Industry knowledge and professional experience is a plus.
