Job details: Responsible for iTunes data management and coordination of all aspects of the production process including quality assurance. Oversees audio and video content and xml metadata.

Shares oversight of the operation of automated data management systems ensuring timely posting of data to the public site

Works with the department manager to plan and manage the overall work of the team including prioritizing assignments, conflict resolution, and business planning, and continually improving the creative, planning and production process

Writes technical specifications defining data formats and processes

Ensures that timelines are achieved within established budgets by overseeing the quality and cost effective implementation

Keeps technically abreast of changes, advancements, and/or improvements within internal systems and suggests further improvements where applicable

Interfaces with Programming team and Technical Label Representatives to ensure important releases are coded correctly and given prominence

BS/BA and 2+ years of experience working in music data management. Ability in editing and proofreading, data research and project management. Familiar with xML. Detail oriented. Good communication, organization and management skills.
